When we get to work in the morning, boy do we dive in. Ok, ok, many of us enjoy a hot, caffeinated beverage before diving in. Around these parts, terms like “buzz” and “wired” don’t just refer to what’s hot in the world of digital. They also describe Archers after we have our average two cups of coffee or tea a day. That’s 18,250 cups a year – rounding out to about 1,140 gallons a year!
Some Archers were born right here in Delaware, some in neighboring Pennsylvania, some as far as New York, and one on the floor of her parents’ dining room. That leaves the rest of us (34%). We’re from the Land of Other, where many of history’s greatest thinkers, artists, and scientists were born and raised.

We play as hard as we work, and sometimes that entails the occasional happy hour – or as we call it, Beer O’Clock. (Or Wine O’Clock. Or Bubbly O’Clock. Or Scotch O’Clock. You get the picture.) Our preferred potions may vary, but the majority (50%) of us fancy the liquor.
Oh, excuse us. We’re just warming up our vocal chords. We love to sing. Forty-three percent of us prefer to keep our lyrical stylings hidden behind the shower curtain, while a quarter of us enjoy belting it out at the karaoke bar. What are we singing, you ask? Everything from The Lion King, to Hall & Oates, to today’s pop princesses, and the occasional hip hop snippet (think Biggie Smalls’ “Baby, baby, uhhh”).
Many of us (75%) are proud parents to at least one pet (mostly cats and dogs) at home, and here in the office we have three pets: a T-Rex named T-Rex, a dodo named Einstein, and a unicorn named Glitter. Take note, competitors: extinct animals make great digital consultants.
Twenty percent of us have been employed at Archer for 3 to 4 years. Some employees have been here almost as long as we’ve been in business (we lovingly call our longest-employed coworker “The Elder”). These are stats we’re proud of, and not too shabby for a digital marketing and technology agency. That Bob Archer sure is a charmer, a people pleaser, an “employee whisperer” if you will.
Food is fuel for producing great work – and a surefire way to bribe motivate people to socialize, come to meetings at noon or after five, and get their timesheets in on time. How much do we love food? Our kitchen is modeled after a retro diner. We have cook-offs and cookie swaps. Heck, one of our clients is a well-known food store chain. And we’re not picky. Thirty-four percent of us love all types of food!
